Le Moulin de Chaquel is in the French region of Bretagne, department Morbihan.
We are just south of the Forêt Domaniale de Camors. The nearest towns are Camors, about 4k to the northeast and Pluvigner, about 5k to the southeast. We are about 15k north of Auray and the Golfe du Morbihan. The Riviére d'Etel is about 10k to the southwest of us.

Directions from St Malo.
On leaving the ferry port, follow signs for Rennes & Dinan on to the N737.
About 15k from the port, just after passing Châteauneuf, join the N176 - E401 direction Dinan.
Stay on this road for 20k, until just past Dinan, then join the D766 direction Caulnes
Stay on the D766 for about 25k until it passes Caulnes, goes under the N12 and becomes the D166 direction St Meens.
Stay on the D766 for about 10k until it joins the N164, just to the east of St Meens.
Head west, direction Loudeac for 3k before rejoining the D166, direction Mauron & Ploërmel
Stay on the D166 for about 32k until the intersection with the N24.
Join the N24 direction Josselin & Lorient and stay on this road for about 45k. The exit you need is the one for Baud & Auray. There is a further exit, about 5k, that is easier for large vehicles.
About 3k from either N24 exit, at Le Poteau roundabout, just south of Baud, you need to take the D24 direction Lambel & Landevant.
Now you need to watch more carefully for the turnings!

Stay on the D24. As you leave Lambel you cross over a railway bridge and go on through more forest. Watch for the next crossroads, they are about 1k from the bridge, and turn left, direction Kerglouéro & Botquestén. (Note that the road off to the right is signposted Quistinic.) |
Pass through Kerglouéro and then Botquestén. About 1k from the crossroads you start going downhill. Look out for the right hand turn, direction Trélécan & Kerdavid - Talhouët. As you turn right, our land is on your left hand side. Turn next left into our drive. Welcome to Le Moulin de Chaquel.
